1979 - Jeff opened Paradise Woodworks in this South Elgin store.   The name originated because customers would come in and claim, “This is paradise.”

Jeff was a one-man shop making custom woodworks and his loudspeaker enclosures, about 50/50 mix of each.

Joy would come on the weekends and dust the showroom from all the sanding done during the week.
